The short version
Monobreath is built privacy-first. Your dives, health metrics and locations are storedonly on your iPhone and Apple Watch. We have no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no servers that receive your dive data. We never sell or share your personal data.
Data the app uses (on your device)
- Health & fitness — heart rate, water depth, water temperature and workout data, read from Apple Health to record and analyse your dives.
- Location — a single GPS fix taken at the surface before and after a session to tag the dive spot. Monobreath never tracks your location underwater or in the background.
- Motion & submersion — used to detect water entry and measure depth on Apple Watch Ultra.
This data stays in Apple Health and the app's on-device database. It is not transmitted to us. You can export it yourself (JSON/CSV) or delete all of it from within the app at any time.

A note on safety
Monobreath is a training log, not a dive computer, and cannot prevent blackout. Never freedive alone. Your safety depends on your training, your buddy and your judgement.
